Eta designed
the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing changes required in this
upgrade of a health care facility dedicated to providing care to
severely handicapped children. The design included replacement of
two all-electric rooftop units with electric/gas rooftop units,
upgrading the fire alarm and emergency call systems, and addition of
all relevant circuits to the existing emergency generator. Lacking
any drawings, Eta performed extensive site visits to verify the
existing conditions. As part of its due diligence, Eta installed
temporary electrical metering in the building to determine if the
existing emergency generator could carry the new emergency loads
added during the renovation.

Eta designed
the mechanical, electrical and plumbing for the addition of
residential rooms to this facility.
Lacking complete as-built plans, Eta’s design services
included extensive field work, to coordinate with the existing fire
alarm, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler and emergency call systems
already serving the existing building.

the later conversion of classroom areas to sleeping rooms.
